When I was a kid, my family would camp in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. All four of us - mom, dad, sister, and I - would pack into my dad’s old canvas tent. We would arrange our sleeping bags like a game of Tetris and sleep under the stars on summer nights.
I had so much fun during those summers in the wilderness. So much fun in fact that I usually forgot to shower, until one of my parents would tell me I had to before I could join the family for dinner. That’s when I would take my towel and sandals, clad in my bathing suit, and walk to the campground coin showers with a bottle of my mother’s Herbal Essences shampoo.
